Fun low-key Fourth of july

Life is so busy- full of lots of good things.

Here's some pictures from our low-key fourth. We ate hamburgers/hot dogs, corn on the cob and watermelon. Kirtis wanted to make his delicious Flan, but I had to tell them him that was just SO un-american. So we made apple pie instead. It was just our family and mom. We did sparklers in the back yard, then did a few small fountains in the front cul-de sac. Our cute neighbors from across the street came out and enjoyed our "show". Lucky for us, lots of neighbors all around shot off BIG stuff, so we were constantly seeing and hearing big booms of fireworks.
This is the "statue of liberty pose"
I love America!
